Sellpy is a Swedish startup that helps people sell unwanted items by sending out pre-paid Sellpybags for users to fill and return. For this campaign the company aimed to both attract new sellers in areas where it offers pickup and re-engage existing customers who had ordered a Sellpybag but hadn’t yet sent it back.
Using Facebook Ads—especially Custom Audiences to retarget past visitors and customers—and location-specific targeting in urban pickup areas, Sellpy increased ad relevance and drove conversions. The campaign doubled registered users, reached 68,326 people, and cut acquisition costs by 29%.
