A Facebook Case Study
Hubble Contacts, founded in 2016, is an online subscription retailer of low-cost daily contact lenses. Ahead of launch the team needed to gauge consumer interest in an affordable disposable lens and build a list of potential customers to retarget.
They ran Facebook lead ads with a context card and prefilled email forms to capture sign-ups, then used those leads in Custom Audiences and conversion-optimized campaigns to drive purchases and optometrist referrals. The month-long campaign generated about 3,000 leads at an average cost of US$2.30 per lead, helped secure additional seed funding, and supported rapid growth into a staffed business working with thousands of optometrists.
