Scholl, the century-old foot care brand behind GelActiv insoles sold in 70+ countries, wanted to boost brand awareness and ad recall in Spain to support ambitious sales targets. The challenge was reaching relevant shoppers with persuasive messaging that would increase consideration and recommendation among active adults.
Scholl ran a four-week Facebook campaign using photo and video ads, demographic and interest targeting (e.g., runners), and lookalike audiences to control frequency and cost per impression. The campaign reached 3.5 million people and delivered a 19‑point lift in ad recall, a 3‑point lift in purchase intent (ranking above 88% of comparable Nielsen campaigns) and a 15‑point lift in brand recommendation among 45–55 year olds.
