Rexona, Unilever’s leading deodorant brand, aimed to raise awareness in Egypt and position its new MotionSense technology as the go-to choice for men seeking reliable protection during high-intensity activity. The challenge was to convince a male audience that MotionSense works with the body and to drive both brand awareness and in‑store sales.
Rexona ran a month‑long Facebook and Instagram campaign featuring Egypt’s top footballer Hossam Ghaly, using short videos, GIFs and cinemagraphs with clear, sound‑agnostic messaging and the hashtags #DoMore and #MoveMore. The campaign reached 11 million people (70% of the target), delivering a 13‑point lift in ad recall, a 7.2‑point lift in brand awareness and a 7.1‑point lift in message association.
