Reaching Customers with Black Friday Deals

Choxi (originally Nomorerack) is an online flash‑sale retailer offering designer gear, tech and lifestyle products at steep discounts. After tripling revenue in 2013, the company wanted to acquire more higher‑value customers and drive even bigger online sales during the critical Thanksgiving/Black Friday period.

Choxi ran Facebook link ads in News Feed and the right column, optimized creatives and bidding for mobile, and targeted seven segmented Custom Audiences plus Lookalike Audiences to reach past buyers and similar prospects. Using conversion pixels and “Act Now” CTAs, the campaign boosted ROAS and delivered 12.5% of Black Friday sales from Facebook ads, while mobile purchases made up 30% of festive‑season e‑commerce revenue.
