A Facebook Case Study
QNB Finansbank, one of Turkey’s largest private banks, needed to promote a newly digitized consumer loan process to people already using its mobile banking app. The challenge was to reach and engage active app users efficiently, lower acquisition costs, and drive immediate loan applications without customers visiting branches.
The bank ran Facebook mobile app engagement ads using the mobile app events objective, placement optimization across Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network, and Facebook’s SDK to build Custom Audiences for personalized messaging and exclusion of ineligible customers. By continuously optimizing creative, the campaign delivered strong results: 5× lower cost per loan transaction versus traditional media, a 10× increase in conversions over prior website campaigns, and 40% of the bank’s app users were reached during the campaign period.
