A Facebook Case Study
Belstaff, the luxury British heritage brand, wanted to shift its Facebook marketing from brand awareness to driving online sales and website traffic. To find the most effective ad format, it worked with Facebook and its agencies to test video ads against photo ads using Facebook video ads, photo ads, lookalike audiences, and measurement tools.
Facebook helped Belstaff run a four-week A/B split test with redesigned creative and lookalike audiences based on existing customers. The results showed that video ads drove a 34% increase in revenue and 18% higher average order value, while photo ads generated a 40% higher click-through rate and 67% lower cost per acquisition than previous campaigns.
