Carnival Cruise Line, a leading global cruise operator, aimed to raise brand consideration and boost engagement with US vacation seekers by showcasing the experience of a cruise using Facebook’s immersive Canvas format.
Carnival created a scrolling Canvas that combined animation, photos and video to simulate a 5‑day Caribbean getaway, targeted with Custom Audiences and Friends of Connections. The campaign reached 7.7 million people, with over 50% watching more than 25 seconds and 50% watching the entire ad, driving increased brand interest and visits to Carnival’s website via the in‑ad call to action.
