N3TWORK, a mobile game studio, wanted to boost installs and in‑app purchases for Legendary: Game of Heroes and test Facebook’s new Messenger ad placement while improving return on ad spend. They partnered with Facebook Marketing Partner Bidalgo to explore which ad placements would best reach new high‑value players.
Bidalgo ran mobile‑optimized creative across multiple placement combinations targeting males 18–45 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; the combination of Facebook mobile News Feed plus the Messenger home screen outperformed other mixes, delivering 49% higher app install rates, 37% higher purchase conversion and 57% higher 7‑day ROAS compared to the average of seven other placement combinations.
