The Portland Trail Blazers, Portland’s NBA franchise, wanted to boost single-game ticket sales by re-engaging past buyers and attracting fans who’d never attended a game in person. Their challenge was to deliver more personalized, high‑impact messaging that converted interest into ticket purchases.

Using CRM email lists to build Custom and Lookalike Audiences, and running targeted video, carousel and link ads across Facebook and Instagram with Facebook pixel tracking, the team tested creatives and placements to optimize conversion. The data-driven campaign delivered a 21x return on ad spend, 63% lower cost per view than other channels and a 77% higher return on ad spend versus those channels.
