tentree is a Vancouver‑based lifestyle apparel brand that uses sustainable fabrics and plants 10 trees for every item sold. Facing the challenge of reaching a wider, higher‑value audience to boost return on ad spend, the company sought better targeting and more profitable customer acquisition.

Working with Northern Commerce, tentree tested Facebook’s value optimization across mixed media—carousel, dynamic and video ads plus Instagram Stories—targeting high‑value lookalike and custom audiences while excluding recent buyers. The short US test (Feb 6–16, 2018) scaled automatically and delivered strong results: 3x ROAS, a 40% higher ROAS versus the prior campaign, an 85% revenue increase, 50 new retail accounts, 2.8x more trees planted in one month, and expansion of the in‑house team.
