Nescafé Egypt, the instant‑coffee brand from Nestlé, aimed to boost sales and raise brand awareness by encouraging Egyptians—particularly 18–35-year-olds—to reconnect with old friends over a cup of coffee. The challenge was to create an emotionally engaging campaign that would drive social interaction and measurable brand lift.

Working with Performics Egypt, Nescafé ran a video‑led Facebook and Instagram "First Tag" campaign using influencers and Facebook’s reach-and-frequency tool to prompt users to tag the first person they’d ever tagged. Over four weeks the videos received 20+ million views and reached 12 million people, producing a 10‑point lift in ad recall, a 12‑point lift in campaign awareness, and more than 10,000 friend tags.
