Mothercare, a global maternity and childcare retailer with more than 1,000 stores, partnered with Facebook Marketing Partner BIONIC to better connect its online advertising to in‑store sales. The main challenge was reaching expectant mothers and converting them into new customers while accurately tracking and optimizing offline purchases.
BIONIC integrated its automation with Mothercare’s EPOS and Facebook’s Offline Conversions API, running store‑visits ads targeted with Custom and lookalike audiences, local demographics and a “Get Directions” CTA. The campaign delivered a 7.5X return on ad spend and 16% of purchasers were new customers.
