A Facebook Case Study
12WBT, the online fitness programme built by celebrity trainer Michelle Bridges, needed to stand out in Australia’s crowded fitness market and rebuild declining lead quality. The goal was to reach people early in their search for a programme and grow a supportive community in a cost‑effective way.
Working with Switched on Media, 12WBT put Michelle at the centre of the campaign with short videos and testimonials, used link and carousel ads to drive site visits, and deployed mobile-optimized lead ads plus Facebook pixels, retargeting, Custom Audiences and Lookalikes to find and convert the right people. The March–May 2016 campaign delivered 9% more member sign-ups than target and a 68% higher conversion rate from lead adverts, making Facebook central to their acquisition strategy.
