Maybelline India, the country’s leading makeup brand, aimed to leverage its partnership with Amazon India Fashion Week to promote key products to Indian women aged 15–34 interested in beauty, shopping and fashion. The challenge was to build awareness and drive message association around runway looks and product launches in a way that resonated with a young, style-conscious audience.
Maybelline ran an Indian-first, creative-driven campaign simultaneously across Facebook and Instagram using photo and carousel ads, DIY video tutorials, and Instagram link ads, with reach-and-frequency buying over five weeks to control exposure. The integrated approach boosted performance significantly: an 18-point lift in ad recall, a 6-point lift in campaign awareness and a 5-point lift in message association.
