Matt Blatt Furniture is an Australian family-owned retailer of distinctive furniture, lighting and homewares with both stores and a strong online presence. When it opened a new store in Adelaide—an area with very low foot traffic—the team needed a cost-effective way to let locals know it was open for business.
Working with agency Switched on Media, Matt Blatt ran a two-day Facebook local awareness campaign using carousel ads targeted to people within a 60 km radius and refined with Custom Audiences (email lists, site visitors, page likers) plus Lookalike Audiences. The short campaign drove a 7X increase in sales, doubled foot traffic, and generated more sales in those two days than in the previous 14 days combined.
