Lilith Games, a Shanghai-based developer founded in 2013 and known for titles like Art of Conquest, AFK and Soul Hunters, needed to acquire high-value players for Soul Hunters—gamers who would not only install the app but actively play and make purchases across multiple markets.
Using Facebook App Event optimisation with mobile app install ads, Lilith created Custom Audiences of paying players in Germany, France and the UK, built multi-country lookalike audiences, and optimised ads for the “purchase” event while running video and carousel creatives. The campaign delivered a 7X return on ad spend and a 7-point increase in retention (April 7–20, 2017).
