A Facebook Case Study
LHC Les Lions is Lyon’s professional ice hockey team competing in France’s top division. Wanting to turn its Facebook following into matchgoers, the club — guided by local agency Cojecom — set out to increase ticket sales and boost local awareness by using targeted social advertising.
Cojecom ran a conversion-focused campaign using Page posts, link ads and promotional codes in desktop and mobile News Feed, targeting a Custom Audience of page fans, known ticket buyers and lookalike audiences. Across nine campaigns (Sept–Oct 2015) the club recorded more than 340 purchase conversions, achieved a 3X return on ad spend and filled nearly 100% capacity for key matches, leading to an ongoing cadence of Facebook campaigns.
