Lay’s Poland, the PepsiCo‑owned potato chip brand, wanted to drive a seasonal boost in in‑store sales and increase consumption frequency despite already strong market position. The challenge was to make Lay’s feel relevant to summer social occasions and find high‑impact, non‑standard digital placements to shift behavior.

Working with OMD and VML, the team ran a summer campaign on Facebook using eye‑catching cinemagraphs, 3D‑style video, boosted posts and carousel ads across desktop and mobile to link the product to outdoor gatherings. The six‑week effort delivered the highest return on ad spend of any channel (4.5X), a 22‑point lift in ad recall, a 2‑point lift in top‑of‑mind awareness, and lower cost per reach versus TV.
