A Facebook Case Study
Rockstar Energy Drink, a global energy brand, aimed to launch two new flavours (Red Ice and Silver Ice) in Germany and sought to expand beyond classic channels to attract new audiences and boost brand awareness among its core target. The challenge was to create a fast, emotionally engaging campaign that worked on mobile and cut through social feeds.
Rockstar ran mobile‑optimized short vertical video ads on Facebook and Instagram using festival footage and clear calls to action. Between July–September 2017 the campaign drove a 14‑point lift in ad recall, a 6‑point lift in top‑of‑mind awareness in the core target, and reached 75% of that audience, while improving the efficiency of media spend.
