Doctor Scar is a Vietnam-based dermatology clinic launched in September 2016 that specializes in treating acne scars with certified doctors. One month after opening, the clinic’s challenge was to build brand awareness quickly and drive revenue by acquiring new customers.

Doctor Scar ran a short video campaign—each spot focused on a specific acne problem and linked to the website—and used Facebook tools (Custom Audiences, retargeting via the Facebook pixel, Lookalike Audiences and Audience Network) to sequence ads and target likely customers. Over the five-week campaign the clinic saw an 11× increase in revenue, a 5× rise in new customers and a 4× boost in website traffic.
