Kiwi Crate is a monthly subscription ecommerce service that delivers hands-on art, science and craft projects for kids ages 3–16. Facing the dual challenge of raising brand awareness among parents (especially moms) and increasing online subscription sales, the company sought a scalable way to introduce its product to new audiences and convert them into subscribers.
Kiwi Crate ran short compilation video ads to build awareness with Lookalike Audiences, then used link and carousel ads with special offers and a Facebook pixel to drive and track subscriptions. The campaign delivered a 23% increase in subscription orders, a 2.8x return on ad spend, over 130,000 video views per month and a 1.7% click-through rate.
