A Facebook Case Study
Jumplife, the Taiwanese app company behind Gamadian—a mobile shopping mall that lets users try snacks from around the world—wanted to grow installs, loyalty and sales with a modest ad budget. Because its audience was defined by shared interests rather than simple demographics, the company struggled to find and reach people most likely to try novel snacks.
Jumplife ran frequent mobile-focused Facebook content and used carousel app-install ads plus immersive Canvas experiences, then targeted users with Custom and Lookalike Audiences and refined demographics using Audience Insights (focusing on 13–34-year-old women). The campaign delivered strong results: a 7.6X increase in revenue year-over-year, 2.2X more app installs in one month and 3X higher app engagement in that month.
