A Facebook Case Study
Bilka, a Danish hypermarket chain founded in 1970 and part of Dansk Supermarked, wanted to increase physical store traffic across its nationwide locations. The challenge was to convert online reach into in‑store visits and repeat business using Facebook’s advertising tools.
Bilka ran product- and offer-led campaigns using Facebook’s store visits ad objective, targeting adults 24–65 in Denmark and retargeting people who clicked or previously visited with Custom Audiences. The effort drove 45,000 store visits, a 7.8% visit rate among ad viewers and a 15% repeat-visit rate the following week, boosting in‑store sales and marketing insights.
