A Facebook Case Study
LG Electronics, a global technology leader, launched the LG V20—highlighting its 136° rear and 120° front wide-angle cameras—and wanted to raise awareness in Hong Kong while strengthening the association between those camera features and the LG brand.
They ran a two‑phase Facebook campaign: phase one used video ads to build awareness, and phase two used Canvas with a “Tap to open” nudge, interactive elements and targeted audiences (camera-interested users and viewers from phase one). The campaign reached 4.75 million people, drove 1.8 million video views and 240,000 Canvas clicks, and produced a 9% lift in ad recall and a 5% lift in message association.
