Elaraby, an established Egyptian electronics retailer founded in 1964, aimed to increase brand awareness and drive online sales to become the region’s leading tech retailer. The company needed a campaign that would build emotional connection with customers and convert that attention into purchases.
Elaraby ran a video-led Mother’s Day campaign featuring children singing about their mothers, using Facebook video ads, Automatic Placements, Reach & Frequency, Custom Audiences and the Facebook pixel to target and measure performance. The campaign reached 9 million people and delivered 5 million video views in 2017, driving a 3X (200%) increase in sales during the Mother’s Day period.
