goPuff is an on‑demand delivery service launched in Philadelphia in 2013 that delivers snacks, drinks, office supplies and more to your door in 30 minutes or less. As it expanded across US cities, the company wanted to boost awareness of its app and drive more downloads so it could convert new users into orders.

Partnering with MuteSix, goPuff ran a two‑phase mobile campaign using Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network: broad awareness app‑install ads built with Audience Insights and Power Editor, plus custom audiences, lookalikes and retargeting based on “view product,” “add to cart” and “purchase” events. The effort produced a 35% increase in app installs, a 30% decrease in cost per install and a 35% decrease in cost per purchase after download.
