Webex by Cisco, the online meeting and video conferencing service from Cisco, wanted to make it easier for mobile users to request product demos and generate more qualified leads. To do this, Webex by Cisco turned to Facebook and its Lead Ads service as a way to improve conversions without the burden of building mobile-optimized landing pages.
Facebook implemented a Lead Ads campaign that used targeting in mobile News Feed and pre-filled lead forms, which users could submit quickly to book a demo. The results were strong: Webex by Cisco saw an 84% increase in return on ad spend, a 3x conversion rate, and a 75% lower cost per conversion than link ads, making Facebook its most effective lead generator.
