Gallery Photoclass - Customer Case Study

Gallery Photoclass is a contemporary photography gallery in Daejeon, South Korea that runs exhibitions, classes and sells prints in person and online. Facing a newly launched website and the need to reach people who couldn’t visit the gallery, its goals were to drive website traffic, raise brand awareness, build an engaged Facebook community and maximize a limited marketing budget.

The gallery ran visually driven photo and link ads on Facebook—inspired by major museums—while using conversion tracking pixels, A/B testing of creative and targeting, and Custom Audiences to reach 30–54-year-old South Koreans interested in art, photography and film. It also engaged fans directly to shape content. Over a two‑month campaign (Feb–Mar 2015) this approach drove a 54× increase in website traffic within 10 days and added 13,000 Facebook fans, helping boost awareness and both online and in‑store sales.
