FTX Games, a division of Playtech plc., publishes mobile titles including Narcos: Cartel Wars and set out to acquire high-quality, paying players globally by expanding into new markets and building on its existing player base during a competitive launch period.
FTX used interest targeting, Lookalike Audiences, worldwide targeting, App Event optimization and re-engagement across Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network with localized creatives and multiple ad formats. Within three months App Event optimization accounted for ~70% of spend and campaigns delivered a 2X increase in 7-day ROAS, up to 3X higher 30-day ROAS, and up to a 3X increase in new payer conversion rate.
