A Facebook Case Study
Austin Dog Rescue is a nonprofit (founded 2006) that rehomes dogs through a volunteer foster program. With limited resources, it needed to drive website traffic, raise awareness of adoptable dogs, and grow its volunteer base across Central Texas.
The organization focused its marketing on Facebook—posting engaging photos and videos 2–3 times daily, linking to dog bios, and using Pages, Promoted Posts and targeted Ads to reach dog lovers within 50 miles of Austin. In 16 months this approach delivered a 50% increase in adoptions, a 57% rise in foster applications, and now drives 80% of the rescue’s website traffic.
