Facebook dynamic ads bring in more local car buyers

Shelor Motor Mile is a privately owned car dealership in Christiansburg, Virginia, founded in 1974 and serving local and regional buyers. The dealer’s goal was to more effectively display its pre-owned inventory to nearby shoppers and drive increased vehicle detail page views that would convert into sales.

Working with Dealers United, Shelor used Facebook Dynamic Ads in carousel format, built a product catalog of its inventory, and deployed the Facebook pixel plus Custom and Lookalike Audiences to automatically retarget in-market shoppers with the exact models they viewed. In a 30-day campaign the approach drove more vehicle page views and 92 total car sales — 52 from people who viewed the ad and 40 from people who clicked it.
