EMC Academic Alliance, an initiative of EMC Corporation, needed to close the knowledge gap in emerging technology, attract more universities and institutions to its program, and increase student enquiries and enrollment across Asia. The organization used Facebook Ads and a Facebook Page to reach students in different countries, while also promoting EMC Corporation as a global IT leader.

Facebook helped EMC Academic Alliance build a targeted campaign using Pages, Page Publishing, Ads, and Apps to engage students and universities with tailored content, lead-generation tools, and campus-specific targeting. As a result, Facebook generated 30% of all student enrollment enquiries, drove a 10% increase in student enrollment, and doubled inquiries from universities and institutions to join the program, while also educating 1 million people about EMC World through Facebook Page posts.
