Eggo, the iconic frozen-waffle brand, faced declining relevance after decades in market and needed to reconnect with a younger, mobile-first audience. The challenge was to refresh the classic “L’Eggo My Eggo” campaign and win back breakfast-table share amid growing competition.

Eggo relaunched the campaign on Facebook with mobile-first video and image ads—featuring a conflicted “Sample Lady,” playful kid-and-toy defenders, and “decoy” label ideas—and used Datalogix purchase data to build Custom Audiences and place ads in the mobile News Feed. The short, targeted run drove a strong business impact: a 4.2X return on ad spend and a 3.2% lift in measured household penetration, delivering a meaningful revenue lift in just a few months.
