Sapporo Toyopet, a long-established Toyota dealer in Hokkaido, aimed to reintroduce the refreshed Harrier SUV and drive store visits and test drives while moving away from print advertising. The challenge was to cost‑efficiently reach new customers and bring existing fans into showrooms at scale.
They ran a two‑stage Facebook and Instagram campaign—brand awareness via link, carousel and photo ads that directed users to the website, then repurposed the top creative into lead ads. The campaign delivered roughly 1,000 more store visits than the prior year, achieved 5x more efficient lead generation (at about 20% of previous costs), a 70% store visit rate from campaign leads, and reached 93% of the target audience.
