Renault Australia, launching two new models (Megane and Koleos), needed to boost brand awareness and drive high-quality leads that would convert into booked test drives at local dealers. As a challenger brand in Australia, Renault aimed to reach car shoppers across mobile devices and move them through consideration to purchase.
Renault ran a mobile-first, full-funnel campaign on Facebook and Instagram—using video ads for awareness, retargeted carousel ads for product detail, and lead ads with location targeting to capture test-drive interest—plus core, interest and Lookalike targeting and dealer-level messaging. The campaign reached 3.4 million people (Koleos), generated 1,100 leads with 40% converting to test drives (Koleos) and 840 leads with 35% converting (Megane), and made Megane launches 11.8x more cost-efficient than overall cost per sale.
