Digitec Galaxus AG, the Swiss e‑commerce group behind Digitec (IT and electronics) and Galaxus (home, DIY and sports), wanted to build on a successful 2016 video push by raising broader brand and product awareness in new, more interactive ways.
They solicited user videos and then ran campaigns using Facebook’s 360 photos and videos to showcase products and invite exploration, reaching roughly one million people. The interactive approach drove strong results: 72% lower cost per action, a 65% higher click‑through rate and an 18% higher return on ad spend compared with the 2016 campaign.
