A Facebook Case Study
DailyObjects, India’s largest seller of smartphone cases with over 7,000 designs, was launching a new product range including leather goods, tote bags and wall art and needed to quickly raise awareness, drive traffic to its ecommerce store and increase online sales.
Using Facebook and Instagram tools—Audience Insights, core targeting, Custom Audiences, News Feed ads and carousel retargeting with user-generated Instagram creative—DailyObjects built a customized funnel that prioritized retargeting first-time site visitors. Over a three-month campaign (Apr–Jun 2016) the approach delivered a 3× increase in sales, 2× return on ad spend, 5× website clicks at 26% lower CPC, 35% of revenue from Facebook, a 40% drop in retargeting CPC and a 15% improvement in ROI.
