A Facebook Case Study
Coca‑Cola India wanted to deliver a special New Year greeting that felt local and personal across a diverse country. The challenge was to reach large numbers of consumers in their native languages while preserving the brand’s global appeal.
Coca‑Cola produced 10‑second animated videos localized with regional imagery, Indian music and messages in 10 local languages plus English, and served them via Facebook desktop and mobile News Feed using location‑based targeting. The four‑day campaign (Dec 29, 2014–Jan 1, 2015) reached 17 million people at a cost per reach of INR 0.35.
