Careem, the UAE-founded premium chauffeur and cab-booking app operating in 10 countries and 26 cities, sought to scale awareness and acquire new customers across the Middle East where Facebook and Instagram usage is high and acquisition costs were rising. Careem ran an integrated campaign across Facebook, Instagram and the Audience Network using customer-data-driven creatives (carousel, photo and app-install ads), Custom and Lookalike Audiences, and targeted placements to showcase convenience and popular routes. The cross-platform approach delivered a larger reach at lower frequency and drove a 30% increase in revenue, a 23% reduction in customer acquisition cost and a 15% lower cost per conversion.
