A Facebook Case Study
PANDORA, the Danish jewellery brand known for charms and bracelets, aimed to be front-of-mind with German shoppers during the Christmas season by using high-quality video to build positive sentiment. The team also wanted to test whether brand video could drive ecommerce like its direct response ads, compare in-stream vs News Feed placements, and learn how ad frequency affected performance.
PANDORA worked with Facebook to trim and reformat its TV creative into 15‑second mobile videos, then ran a Germany-wide campaign using Facebook automatic placements (including in-stream and News Feed) targeted to 18–50 year olds. The campaign delivered strong results: an unprecedented in-stream view-through rate, a 10‑point lift in favourability, a 61% lift in purchases and a 42% increase in number of buyers.
