A Facebook Case Study
AskMeBazaar is an Indian online marketplace that wanted to bring the variety of traditional markets to the web by showcasing a massive range of products across more than a dozen categories. Its challenge was to target the right shoppers with relevant offers, attract new customers (not repeat buyers), and increase online orders by 10X while keeping acquisition costs low.
Working with Sokrati and Facebook’s advertising tools, AskMeBazaar used dynamic product and carousel ads, video/photo/link formats, Audience Insights, Lookalike and Custom Audiences, and conversion tracking to deliver personalized ads by interest and device and exclude existing customers. Over a six‑month campaign the approach drove a 10X increase in daily sales transactions, about 6,000 additional orders per day on average, and a 30% reduction in cost per acquisition.
