Althea is an online Korean beauty retailer that wanted to expand beyond Malaysia into Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia while finding 30% more leads and keeping cost per lead and conversion low. The challenge was to quickly scale overseas and drive the right audiences to its website without inflating acquisition costs.

Althea ran Facebook carousel ads, installed the Facebook pixel for conversion tracking, and used Custom Audiences to retarget site visitors and Lookalike Audiences to find similar customers in new markets. In four months it hit its growth goals, achieving an 80% increase in weekly leads, 50% lower cost per lead, 66% lower cost per order, a 4× return on ad spend and a 40% rise in website traffic.
