L’Argus de la Presse, a business intelligence firm serving communication and marketing professionals, needed to scale its LuQi 360° media intelligence suite to keep pace with rapidly growing online content and social media. Their challenge was to quickly identify and analyze brand mentions, competitors and influencers across news, blogs, social networks and broadcast transcriptions to support reputation management and responsive communications. To meet this need they integrated Expert.ai’s Cogito into LuQi.
Expert.ai’s Cogito semantically enriches unstructured content, extracting metadata aligned to L’Argus de la Presse’s taxonomy and feeding it into their MarkLogic database so users can run semantically enriched queries and analyze structured results. The implementation turned raw mentions into actionable, structured intelligence and delivered semantic insights across online media, blogs, social networks, press, TV and audio transcriptions—improving reputation monitoring, influencer identification and the ability to develop new services for clients.
