Expert Training Systems (ETS) was engaged by Bellway to help them measure and improve employee engagement. The challenge was to gain robust data and insights to create a culture where colleagues feel heard and psychologically safe, with the ultimate goal of becoming a 'destination employer' where people would recommend Bellway as a great place to work.

ETS designed and implemented a confidential employee survey to provide rich, relevant data. Following ETS's recommendations, Bellway adopted a data-driven approach, which led to targeted actions and the creation of additional internal channels for colleague feedback. As a result, Bellway saw significant improvements, including a 91% score for colleagues recommending it as a great place to work and employee turnover at 13.7%, significantly ahead of their 18% target.
