Midmark improves data quality within Oracle E-Business Suite

Midmark Corporation, a manufacturer of exam and procedure tables and digital diagnostic solutions for medical, dental and animal health markets, was losing time and money to inaccurate customer addresses collected from its dealers. Undeliverable shipments created return fees, frustrated drivers and extra work for customer service and logistics teams, so Midmark needed real‑time address validation inside its Oracle E‑Business Suite ERP.

Midmark implemented Experian Data Quality tools directly in Oracle E‑Business Suite to validate and capture addresses at the point of entry. Since going live in November 2013, new addresses have required no corrections or charge‑backs, call‑handle time has fallen (about 13 seconds saved per address) and annual time savings are estimated at $3,600, improving customer satisfaction; remaining chargebacks stem from legacy data, prompting plans for broader data‑hygiene work.
