Delta Community Credit Union, an Atlanta-based credit union, faced difficulties extracting usable data from its core system to support analytics and improve loan portfolio performance. Mike London, manager of credit product performance, needed a way to turn fragmented data into actionable workflows for collections and targeted marketing.

Working with Experian, Delta Community implemented the Collections Advantage platform to queue and manage delinquencies and an Auto Loan Target Marketing tool to pursue members with loans at other institutions. The Collections Advantage moved the team from “dialing for dollars” to a targeted, queuing workflow, increasing efficiency, while the auto loan campaign delivered about a 5% response rate in the first two weeks—versus roughly 1% for typical direct-mail campaigns.
