CareMount Medical is the largest independent multispecialty medical group in New York, with more than 600 physicians across 25+ specialties, 8 urgent care centers and about 660,000 patients. Wanting to meet growing consumer demand for fast, convenient care beyond office walls and hours, CareMount needed an online scheduling solution that worked across specialties while preserving providers’ control over their calendars.

CareMount implemented Experian Health’s Patient Schedule to enable 24/7 self-scheduling with automated provider-matching and a business-rules engine; a focused change-management approach addressed initial provider resistance. The rollout delivered double-digit month-over-month adoption, about 30 online bookings per provider per month, higher patient satisfaction, reduced call-center workload, and real-time analytics for better visibility into capacity, utilization and cancellations.
