Exotel Powering Vedantu’s Mission of Making Learning Personalized

Vedantu is an online live-classroom platform that connects students and teachers via audio, video and a proprietary Whiteboard to enable personalized learning. Facing large-scale connectivity problems that disrupt live sessions, Vedantu partnered with Exotel to provide cloud telephony — including click-to-call call routing, Number Anonymisation, call-center handling and Business SMS — so learning can continue even when internet quality degrades.

Exotel’s solution gives Vedantu a seamless fallback for roughly 1 in 10 sessions that experience internet issues by routing audio over phone calls, preserves student–teacher privacy with Number Anonymisation, handles support lines, and delivers SMS reminders to reduce missed classes. As a result, Exotel helped Vedantu maintain session continuity, protect stakeholder privacy, and enhance overall user experience, ensuring fewer prolonged breaks and smoother scaling of their live-teaching model.
