Exotel helps Quikr connect buyers and sellers with increased efficiency

Quikr, India’s #1 online classifieds platform, needed a way to connect buyers to service vendors for its new Quikr Services product while ensuring smooth, private interactions, avoiding irrelevant call spam, and enabling lead tracking and monetization. To meet these goals Quikr partnered with Exotel and implemented its cloud telephony-based Lead Management Solution and Business SMS services to route calls securely and automate customer–vendor connections.

Exotel’s cloud telephony routes buyer requests to relevant vendors (allowing the buyer to speak to 4–5 providers without revealing their number), and delivers detailed call data (answered status, duration, etc.) that Quikr uses to charge vendors only for meaningful leads (calls ≥30s), resolve disputes, and optimize operations. The Exotel solution also powers SMS blasts for new-service alerts; as a result Quikr reports at least a 3X increase in efficiency and better monetization and analytics of its service leads.
